Overview

This course provides an excellent opportunity for learners to prove their knowledge of the fundamentals of cloud security, privacy, compliance, and core Azure services.

The Microsoft Azure Cloud Fundamentals course is suited to those beginning to work with cloud-based solutions and services.

Upon completion of this course you will be able to:

  • Describe key cloud concepts, core solutions, and management tools
  • Identify and describe core Azure services
  • Describe identity, governance, privacy and compliance features
  • Understand and implement Azure cost management and service level agreements

Who can take this course?

This course is available to all adults over the age of 18 resident in the Republic of Ireland.

Does the course have prerequisites? 

In order to take this course, you should already have either certification in an area of Cisco or CompTIA A+/N+/S+, a relevant third level IT qualification, or equivalent industry experience.

Does this course have tutor support?

Yes, this course is supported by an online tutor who you will have access to during the course.

What is the exam like on this course?

The Microsoft Azure Cloud Fundamentals AZ-900 exam is conducted online and you have 45 minutes in which to complete the exam. The exam will contain between 40 - 60 questions. All Microsoft technical exams are scored on a 1000 point scale, with a pass mark of 700. In most cases, you will receive your exam results on the day of the exam.

Do I need specific hardware or software?

You will require access to a PC or laptop running a supported version of Microsoft Windows (the most recent version is Windows 11). Certain content may not work as intended on certain versions of MacOS, Linux, and Android.
