Description

This course provides learners with essential networking skills, focusing on designing, configuring, and maintaining IT networks. Learners will build a strong foundation to support enterprise networking environments.

Learning Outcomes

By completing this course you will be able to:

 

  • Design and configure IT networks
  • Manage and maintain network infrastructures
  • Troubleshoot network connectivity issues
  • Implement effective network security protocols

 

By successfully passing the exam at the end of the course, you will also achieve an IT Specialist in JavaScript (ITS – 302) Certificate, an industry recognised qualification certified by Certiport.

This course has no specific prerequisites, however having a basic knowledge of networking concepts would be beneficial prior to beginning the course.

What is the exam like for this course?

The IT Specialist in Networking (ITS-101) exam is conducted online and lasts approximately 50 minutes. The exam has between 35 - 45 questions and has a pass mark of 70%. The exam is a closed book exam, so course materials may not be used during the exam.

Do I need specific hardware or software?

You will require access to a PC or laptop running a supported version of Microsoft Windows (the most recent version is Windows 11) or MacOS (the most recent version is Sonoma). Linux operating systems may also be used for this course, though some versions of both MacOS and Linux may not support all course content.
