Office 2016 and 2019 – Please note that there are two versions of this course, 2016 and 2019.

This online course will give you a solid foundation in Microsoft Access, the world’s most widely-used database management system. Access is a powerful tool for storing large amounts of information and retrieving data for reports and analysis. In contrast to most other database programs, Access has its own Graphical User Interface and can be mastered without complex programming, so it is extremely popular with small to medium businesses who want to capture and analyse data in a competitive way.

Prerequisites & Requirements

Students must have previous IT knowledge as the MOS Core courses are intermediate courses. This is not a beginners course.

Learners should have the ICDL course completed.

If you have the ambition to create professional databases and learn new skills in business strategy and analysis, this course will suit your needs.
  • All students should have access to a PC or laptop running a supported version of Windows (e.g Windows 10).
  • Mac operating system devices can not be used for this course.
  • Apple/Android devices (Smart Phone/Tablets) are not supported and cannot be used for this course.
  • A broadband connection is essential to stream video content.
You require a web browser to view the content and access web platforms. Microsoft Access requires an Office 365 licence, which eCollege provides for the duration of the course.
