Office 2016 and 2019 – Please note that there are two versions of this course, 2016 and 2019.

This is an expert level course, please review the pre-requisites before you enrol.

If you are already competent in Microsoft Excel, this online course will give you the opportunity to upskill considerably and become an expert in the world’s most popular spreadsheet software. You will learn how to create, manage and distribute more complex professional spreadsheets for a range of dynamic situations. You will enhance productivity and deliver winning projects through customising your Excel environment. After completing the course you will be able to confidently craft custom business templates, multiple-axis financial charts, amortisation tables and inventory schedules.

Prerequisites & Requirements

The following course is a mandatory prerequisite:

  • Excel Core
If you have an ambition to harness the full functionality of Microsoft Excel and improve your strategic business thinking, this course is for you.
  • All students should have access to a PC or laptop running a supported version of Windows (e.g Windows 10).
  • Mac operating system devices can not be used for this course.
  • Apple/Android devices (Smart Phone/Tablets) are not supported and cannot be used for this course.
  • A broadband connection is essential to stream video content.
You require a web browser to view the content and access web platforms. Microsoft Access requires an Office 365 licence, which eCollege provides for the duration of the course.

Employment

Virtually all organisations use Excel at some level, so a  Microsoft Office Specialist accreditation as an Excel Expert will demonstrate a highly desirable set of skills to potential employers.

If you join virtually any organisation they will be using Excel at some level, so this is a very marketable and transferable skill. After you earn your Microsoft Office Specialist Excel accreditation you will be a valuable asset to current or potential employers.
