You will cover the baseline knowledge of building and managing Microsoft Windows servers, Windows-based network operating systems, Active Directory, account management and system recovery tools.

Prerequisites & Requirements
Before embarking on this programme, a solid foundation in Windows is essential, so all students should complete the eCollege Windows Operating Systems Fundamentals course before enrolling.
All students should also be familiar with the basic concepts and technologies of Windows Server administration and some hands-on experience with Windows Server, Windows-based networking, Active Directory, account management, and system recovery tools and concepts.
All students should have access to a PC or laptop running a Windows Operating System.
A broadband connection is essential to stream video content.

After earning your official MTA accreditation, you will have a proven proficiency in server administration. This course is a gateway to further specialised training and future employment in junior roles in IT service, helpdesk support, cloud services and IT administration.
